I like that he was able to joke about it though.

I wish there were a way for her to have had more of a national presence.
So many after seeing today's rally said they have never heard or seen her speak. And they loved her.
OMG,she will be the most amazing First Lady of our lifetime.

10. Yes it did; I was very diappointed. |
|
I heard it live and I wanted to hear it again.
It was the best political rally I have ever experienced.

6. Like your best girl friend |
|
in the White House. She really does make me feel that way, like you could tell her anything about your life and she would give you advice if you wanted it or just hug you if you didn't. But also with the sophistication, grace and intelligence of any First Lady who has gone before.
Maria was pretty great too, especially when she was talking about her daughter encouraging her to go and follow her heart. And the quote from Eleanor Roosevelt, do one scary thing every day. That's good advice!

Public education will have no better and more dedicated friend if we're smart enough to nominate her husband.

8. and just up to the upper left you can see my sleeve prominently |
|
shown during the entire time. It was a great strain to try and appear intelligent the entire time, just wish I knew it was only my sleeve that was going to make it and I would have relaxed. :-) On occasion they pan out and you can see my beautiful wife and daughter. Stevie had a little fall and remarked he fell because he was too busy watching Michelle.

12. OMG, you were there!!! |
|
What a moment. We laughed;we cried; we screamed (scared our cats right out the room.); and we jumped up and down.
We were so excited. It was wonderful from here. It must have been unbelievable being there.

far and not getting in that we were way early. 5 minutes earlier and I would have been in the center of all of the shots. I always thought they picked the people to sit behind them but that wasn't the case. You may notice that about 1/2 way thru the people drop the signs. They wanted us to show our faces more. If you notice an Asian teenager and and Asian woman wearing a beret in the shots where they pan out a little that is my daughter and wife. Up and to the left a little.
I will say I was the only that correctly guessed that Maria Shriver was the mystery guest.
I wonder who they have lined up for an endorsement tomorrow? Of course our fantasy would be Al Gore.
And just for the record the crowd there was alot of older folks. I didn't see any of the super devotional or emotional reactions that have been reported. People were happy and relaxed but I found them very normal.
I liked all of the speakers and have always been impressed with Michelle, but I was especially impressed with Maria. Her comments were especially well suited to our more tolerant California ears. She asked for a shout out for but all candidates for president. I just think that taking the higher road is such a sign of strength. Not a universally held opinion here.
My daughter took some pictures and if I can figure out how to do it I will post them here.

17. Thank you for sharing your experience. |

What a joy. Yes we saw the faces, so many beautiful faces, all colors and all agess.
I could see them respond to each speaker. I could see how they connected with the speakers.
I agree with what you said about Maria. She was so perfect,so California. It all seemed like a golden moment to me. I am so glad you got to be there and share it with us.
I will look for your wife and daughter if they run it again.
Would love to see your pictures.

21. You need an online photo account |
|
flickr or photobucket. The directions are pretty self explanatory after that. You upload the pictures to the account, then post the URL in a post.
