my prediction: it will be Clinton/Clark vs. McPain/Hickabee |
|
even though obama is getting such prestigious endorsements like those of oprah and dr. phil, i think hillary is going to squeak by him and choose wes clark as her running mate.
hickabee will stay in the race long enough to keep romney at bay and mcpain will pay him back by choosing him as his running mate.
clinton/clark will win in the GE.

I'm really not sure if that's more sarcasm or more my witness to the origins of GD-P.

Clark :loveya: would be a good though unlikely choice. You could be right on the McInsane ticket though. He could be whacked enough to choose Huck, but more likely it will be some voracious political operator like Tom Davis or Boehner.
Likewise, the Dems would be crazy not to run Hill and O together. That ticket solves a multitude of problems, And we couldn't put Eisenhower on the Hillary ticket without the Pukkkes calling him weak on security and getting half the folks to believe them. It doesn't matter one iota if we put a military man with Hillary, as far as her electibilty in the nation would go though a lot of Dems would like that--disclosure: Clarkie here!

Hillary and O would be a great combo. And remember, Bill and Hillary ran the country in the '90's. They didn't like each other too much either, so a Hillary/O combo is not so unthinkable.

16. hilly and o won't run together.....two people from chicago would mean... |
|
no southerners on the ticket and that would be a losing strategy. it won't happen. despite the fact that chicago is my favorite city, having been born and raised there, i understand that we need to mix the ticket up a bit.
now, there is a way we can actually get two chicagoans on the ticket and win this thing......listen up:
wes clark was born in chicago. everyone thinks he is a southerner, though, because he is more associated with arkansas. wes clark on the ticket is the best of both worlds: two chicagoans on the ticket and at the same time a chicagoan and a southerner on the ticket.

Clark vast knowledge in a myriad of areas including international affairs, national security and military strategy would be a huge asset to Hillary and a gift to our country.

Why else would Clark endorse Clinton so early? Would look great on a bumper sticker, wouldn't it?

and, if he did, i'm not sure anyone would give two shits. dr phil is about as irrelevant a person as anyone in the world. i doubt he's even a doctor.

....more hacked machinery.
if the US public hasn't learned its lesson about republican control of the government then they deserve what they get. but my guess is that in the last two elections, we won but dieboldt overturned the decision.

Presuming that we have "learned the lesson", what can we DO about it? Our country has been stolen! That doesn't mean we deserved it, only that we don't know how to stop them!

21. well, i didn't mean you or me or other people like us |
|
i just meant the US collectively.
yes, the elections were stolen. i hate the corporate dirtbags that stole the elections and inserted their puppets into office. i hate the freepers and other subhumans that continue to support the corporate dirtbags and their puppets. but i am more angry at us. we should know better. when democracy was stolen, we should have marched in the millions on pennsylvania avenue and demanded that the puppets vacate our white house and congress. we should have marched into the republican home offices like halliburton, enron, exxon, monsanto, etc and run them out of town. we should have stormed fox news, clear channel, cnn, msnbc, and the rest of the mainstream media and demanded that our public airwaves were returned from the corporate masters to the people. we didn't because our lives were still comfortable enough that we didn't want to rock the boat and lose our SUVs and big screen TVs. we complained when the election was stolen. we complained when we learned about bush ignoring intelligence prior to 911. we complained when they went to war in iraq. we complained after another fishy election in 2004. we complained but we didn't really take action. we didn't do enough. the corporate thugs know this all too well...they know that when push comes to shove, we will do nothing. they hardly even try to hide their crimes any more, because we've continued to do nothing. maybe you can make the argument that we don't DESERVE what we're getting, but you shouldn't deny the fact that we shouldn't be surprised any more.

I think very little has changed since 2000 and 2004 and I'm very worried....
I live in Florida and you would think with the history here it might be important to folks and if I bring it up to most people either look at me like I'm a nut case, laugh it off or shrug their shoulders.
So frustrating...

23. don't get discouraged........ |
|
......keep bringing it up. florida will be close and the repuke filth will try to steal it again. help make the margin of victory big enough that they can't do it again.
expose the repuke filth every chance you get. and start licking your chops as november nears and don't lose the hunger. keep your foot on the throat of the fascist repuke party all the way to election day and then snap it's scummy neck.
fascism doesn't die easily....you have to keep smashing it over and over again. it's like cancer...it will keep coming back. we defeated the nazis in germany in WWII but there are still nazis there and elsewhere...we just need to keep making them live in fear and every time they show up in the light of day we need to smash them. same with repukes and freepers....make them take their fascist, racist, bigoted, hateful views underground. when they pop their heads up, it's whack-a-mole time.
