Remember, this is not a popular vote - it's all about the delegates
It's all set up to favor the incumbent or the establishment candidates. These super delegates can swing the election either way, and they won't be swayed by cuteness or faith or inspirational speeches. I read the other day that Bill's been canvassing the super delegates consistently and hey, he's the Big Dog - who can argue with his 8 years of peace and prosperity and a promise of more to come from his wife's presidency, with his support and wisdom behind her?

I just want to remind all of you that it's not a popular vote, it's proportional representation, with super-delegates having the final say. That's all folks :)

1. The popular vote is important because of the bandwagon effect
The media will report the popular vote win, not the delegate win. People will jump on the bandwagon of the candidate they percieve as winning.

other persons votes.

Superdelegates is the establishments plan B when average Joe doesn't buy what they are selling.

Get rid of them.

4. I agree with you on that point
Fer sure. It's a set-up, much like the overall general elections with every state getting two senators when they may have a tiny population, and the state delegates casting their votes for whoever they want in the general election, the votes of the people be damned. It's fucked up.

3. Its also about perception...
If Hillary loses the delegates by even a little, she WILL have a perception problem going into next week.
