If Hillary is the winner, what is your problem?

She was expected to win there.- And it seems she did.

Isn't that enough?

Why tear down Ted?

peace~

MSNBC made the statement that Hillary beat Ted. Which I found a little ridiculous but, OTOH, they've also been touting an upset by Obama since the Kennedy endorsements.

It's just the media doing what they get paid to do. Ruffle feathers.

And they, and John 'Hubris' Kennedy, need to understand clearly that they HAVE been corrected.

Kerry's up for reelection this NOV. If I were to be as shitty to him as he was to the voters of his state, trying to make up our minds FOR us, I'd write in HR Clinton for his position!

90. Your link doesn't work
Neither Kerry or Ted did any double dealing. Kerry HELPED your candidate by giving him the VP slot, and he repaid him by refusing to even using the camapaign slogan. The Edwards also attacked the Kerrys - not the other way around. After all that you think he owed him something? Not to mention he wasn't taking his calls. As to EMK he helped Edwards enormously in his early days in the Senate - though I doubt EMK liked Edwards bankruptcy bill.

Get over your fantasy that someone forced Edwards out - just because he SAID he would say in. He changed his mind when it became clear he couldn't win.

She was up by 37 in this state fairly recently. For Obama to take Mass it would mean an almost complete sweep for him. And that is clearly not going to happen for either candidate.

103. Obama got 41%. That's not exactly a 'bomb out' of humiliation...
:eyes:

Clinton - 667,356 - 56% ----- 47 (delegates) Winner

Obama -- 485,194 - 41% ----- 29 (delegates)

40. The day Teddy came out and endorsed Barrie I posted that his endorsement
meant NOTHING. And I told people to think for themselves.

Apparently a hell of a lot of people in Massachusetts had the same idea.

If Kennedy, Kerry and HRC were all on the ballot? No doubt HRC would have been a distant third.

So no, she didn't beat either Kerry or Kennedy.

50. Couldn't be more wrong! Hillary was up 25-30 points until Teddy endorsed. This is a delegate
race, and what should have been an overwhelming win for Hillary in a state with 93 pledged delegates and 28 unpledged, Hillary will now win Mass by only a few delegates. Teddy hurt her tremendously.

82. Thank you
You make more sense than the KO comment that it didn't effect the race - it may well have, but not enough to make up a 25-30% deficit. That is a huge shift.

98. Thanks for the insult. I could call her Queen Inevitable, but I won't.
Hillary is still holding a much larger lead than expected. I don't know if this is because Obama precincts are slow to report, but it seems like too much of the vote is already in to shift dramatically.

Edited on Tue Feb-05-08 10:38 PM by krkaufman
As for "beating" the Kennedys, the change in vote margins, across the nation, indicates that the Kennedy endorsement has had a big effect on narrowing the gap between Obama and Clinton. So, from the proportional delegate perspective, your conclusion is, at minimum, premature, and quite possibly erroneous.

How's this for momentum (and don't forget the nearly 3-to-1 fundraising ratio in January)...
