if it looks like a brokered convention
do the chances of Edwards or Gore endorsing increase?
It could get real messy with Florida & Michigan primaries in limbo. I think as a whole voters will get behind the nominee as long as it doesn't look like it was decided by insiders and super delegates.

Second question, would an Edwards or Gore endorsement make a big difference in the coming weeks?

2. Heard Howard Dean say today that they did NOT want a brokered convention.
Would that just be the topping on the most wild primary EVER?

4. And is somebody going to pull an "edwards" on one of the other candidates, I wonder? Seriously,
I don't trust this "process" at all :-) :hide:

3. Edwards only if his supporters would stop voting for him. I think endorsements
help for publicity but not much for the average voter. Gore may not endorse this year. I'd be surprised if he did.

Overall, now that the horribly compressed schedule behind us, the candidates will have a better chance to get to the states and campaign with a bit more leisure. I think one candidate will pull out in front.. but we'll see !

of battle lawyers fighting over seating the delegates in Michigan & Florida.
Shades of 2000 --ugh.

6. Exactly, me too. I still have nightmares of chads and Supreme Court decisions and 8 yrs of Bush. It
is NOT a good signal to send to the democratic base, that one would be willing to GO THERE. Will not go over well, at all.
