1. "It's merely a flesh wound." "I'll bite your knees off!" Needs Monty Python script.

2. Again?
Second or third time for that?

Also noted, it's from conservativechris.blogspot.com -- It's interesting where the Obama camp gets its help from.

3. Say what? It's from a Google images search, you daft dolt.
Edited on Wed Feb-06-08 04:06 AM by CorpGovActivist
http://images.google.com/images?um=1&hl=en&q=flesh+wound+python

First image that came up.

Good God, clutch at another straw.

- Dave

P.S. To break this down very, very simply:

1. Go to Google.

2. Select images search.

3. Type in the words "flesh wound python" (knowing, by heart, the words of that scene, and having a pretty good idea that a pic from that scene depicting the battle - in which the losing knight continues to gnaw at knees long after it's clear that Arthur has won - would likely show up in the results)

4. Voila! Pick the first one that works.

5. Ignore daft dolts who now want to impose orthodoxy on where we can and can't get images from.

6. Post explanatory defense.

7. Rinse and repeat, as we can expect this to become a new tactic. Lord, have mercy.

32. Technically we're not supposed to hotlink other sites' photos, it's stealing bandwidth.
using photobucket xs.to or some other hostinf site is what we're supposed to do.

14. Romen + Juliet was cool in that it used the actual words of the original.
Even guns were called swords. Was pretty awesome.

5. The offending photo has been substituted...
... with an exact replica from a neutral source.

What a friggin' joke. I almost want to send you a bale of hay, just so you have a wubbie to hug.

Nobody should have to grasp at a straw like that.

8. Touchy, aren't you?
There have been dozens of anti-HRC graphics from conservative websites posted this week.

Most of the people who posted them likewise got hyper-defensive when this was pointed out.

If you're going to make a big deal about gloating, at least take the time to look where you're getting your material.

13. Dave,
It was printed on the picture. It was impossible to miss. And the practice of posting right-wing pictures in pro-Obama gloat threads got out of control over the past few days.

Do you REALLY want people to associate Obama and his supporters with wingnut Clinton hatred? Associating him with gloating is bad enough.

In case you are thinking that I am the "enemy", you may want to console yourself with the fact that I actively worked to debunk the "madrassa" spam around Christmas by replying to every one I got -- and sending a debunking page to every recipient. So it's not like I'm out to destroy Barack Obama.

I'm happy that you found a better source for the MPFC/LB picture. Now there's still plenty of post-game analysis to do. And we have a major elephant hunt coming up this fall. Solidarity!

Edited on Wed Feb-06-08 04:34 AM by CorpGovActivist
Who in the world looks to see where the pic is coming from?

:eyes:

- Dave

P.S. Can you imagine how they'd ridicule that if a Clinton campaign staffer got "caught" putting together an e-mailing with a graphic from a RW source? They'd say their critics had lost it. Here, instead of say, "Oh, yeah, I can see how that was just a benign coincidence," and moving on ... I mean, please.

12. It's not like it's anything other than a straight screenshot from the movie.
It'd be different if some "post-production" had been done to photoshop Hillary's face onto the Black Knight by the conservative wankers --- but it's a simple screenshot! What a howl...

Of course, the nit-picking distracts from the fact that it's a much more hilarious (and accurate) analogy for tonight. I gotta believe that Hillary's failure to wrap-up the nomination via the front-loaded primary system is a massive disappointment for her campaign -- and especially Terry McAuliffe. (And then there's the 3-to-1 fundraising advantage in January.)

6. Beat me to it.
Personally, I'm looking forward to Sir Robin's song...
(she) is packing it in and packing it up
And sneaking away and buggering up
And chickening out and pissing off home,
Yes, bravely (she) is throwing in the sponge...

All in jest.

(Thinking about it, somebody should have thrown together a video mashup w/ this as the background tune for Rudy after his embarrassing failure and post-Florida bailout.)
