Poll question: On a scale of 1 to 9, how likely do you think it is that Clinton and Obama will share a ticket? |
|
That is to say, the probability we'll be voting for Clinton/Obama or Obama/Clinton in November--either way.

consider him over some patsy who can play second fiddle to Bill - Richardson? Clark? Bayh? (Yes, I am now for Obama.)
He woukd not choose her over better choices (Webb?) to have her in the Senate to do the nuts and bolts of his program, which he will need mightily - perhaps cutting some "deal" with her to give her more power in some way. (No idea what that would be, but she craves power and national recognition of such).

...she's probably aware that sometimes you need to pick a VP that you don't care for in order to get elected.

4. For the first time, I am thinking it is likely. |

A tie is not helping the party or the DEMS chances in the fall. Going into the convention with the contentiousness we have seen will damage whoever emerges... unless another candidate **other than them** is chosen as a unity candidate if they can't see beyond their egos and combine their campaigns. If they are wise, they would start talking about it now rather than later.
Are they wise? We will see won't we.

5. Clinton will not take the second place slot, and Richardson is a better fit for her. |

Obama has pretty much burned the bridge with his commentary. It could happen, but it seems unlikely to me.
