One day she's more electable; the next day he is.

I know damned well I'm over thinking this. I guess that happens when one isn't happy with either choice.

1. Howard Dean, 2004: "I'm electible if you vote for me"
That sounds simplistic, and in a way it is, but it's true. The fact is "electability" is governed by many factors, some of them conflicting. And we've never had a demographic vs candidates like we have this year. So, we don't really know who's more electable. Yes, you'll hear both sides make their cases, picking and choosing among the many varied factors. But in the end, if people vote for a candidate, as they have in large numbers for both Clinton and Obama, he or she is electable.

The large turnout on Super Tuesday and other states tells me that voters are eager to vote for Democrats. Yes, you have a small percentage (don't take DU as your guide on this) of people who say they'll sit it out if their candidate doesn't get the nomination. Let them pout and take their ball and go home. Vote for whoever you like best, even if he or she doesn't agree with you 100%.

4. Paul Wellstone was unelectable
At least, that was the big argument against him in 1990 when he ran his first Senate campaign.

"Electibility" is one of the biggest red herrings in politics. ANYBODY is electable.

2. What I did...
When Dennis and Edwards went away I thought and thought - ouch!

Then one day told myself I'd sleep on it and the next day I would know what to do. For the rest of the day I put it out of my mind as best I could. I awoke the next morning and immediately thought that I would be caucusing for Obama and I've never looked back.

This was very tough Husb. but I decided that I knew who I was leaning toward and would accept and trust my decision. I've been at peace ever since.
