I also find the derisive tone emanating from the Obama campaign when speaking of Hillary offensive.

2. T'm going to answer her email I received today and donate too
I saw Chelsea Clinton at the Hartford event for the 22 city Town Hall.
She is an amazingly intelligent, warm young lady.
Once we'd chosen our 5 potential quesitons, as an audience, Chelsea went back to the glass bowl with all the other remaining cards/questions; started picking thme out and very eloquently gave an information from her perspective on a wide ranging bunch of topics.
I heard more details from Chelsea and later her Mother, than I've ever heard from the preacher/rock star combo--Obama. He's all pat, repetitive phrases....no substance.
He's certainly no JFK or RFK.....we'd never even heard of him beyone a year ago.
What fools these people are who are enraptured by that shallow man.

120 'PRESENT' votes where he made NO decisions. Absent from his committee meetings.

4. So, do you know how long Hillary worked for the Children's defense Fund that
She talks about constantly as a "large" part of her experience?

7. I'm not voting for her because of how long she worked at the CDF
so I don't see the relevancy of your post. As far as I can tell this was the start of her advocay carreer and where she met and became life-long friends with Marian Wright-Edelman. I'm sure it had a "large" impact in the causes she chose to champion in later years but I don't know that for sure. Point is, over all, since she first hit my radar screen in 1992 she has consistently advocated children's causes. What ...you hate children???

5. That is certainly your prerogative. Can I ask you a question?
Is the only reason you donated because you felt she was slighted? Did you consider her war vote?

I'm asking because sometimes emotional decisions aren't the best.

9. I voted for her because between her and Obama, she was the better candidate
The slighting seems so petty, yes. I do have issues with Obama, and I realize that that opinion is becoming heretical here lately but "In My Opinion" he does not have the background and experience to be president at this critical time. As far as the Iraq war resolution is concerned, I think alot of legislators got buffaloed by Bush. Who knew what a naked liar he turned out to be. Also, do you remember the atmosphere?? They had teed up opposition as nigh on treason. Think back, it was a scary time. Now Obama has the luxury of not having been under that relentless pressure so he could oppose it, but he didn't have to go on the record. For all I know he might have voted "present" to preserve his viability.

10. Let me give you some background.
There are some, like me, who experienced Bush as a governor and knew he was a liar and a deceptive politician. I find it hard to believe that Hillary, spending as much time as she did in Washington, knowing what she knew about the Republicans and sitting on the Armed Services Committtee, could be "buffaloed". I certainly wasn't, and I'm just an ordinary citizen. Obama spoke out againt war with Iraq in 2002 and it certainly wasn't popular at the time.

Overall, I believe Obama is more honest than Hillary. She touts her 35 years experience, but that isn't necessarily a good thing.

12. Thanks for "educating" me. I'm aware of all that
I also sat in utter amazement as we continued the relentless march to war. They were buffaloed because Bush told them he would only use the power as a last resort. He lied. We could argue that point til the cows come home and then find we are on the same side. I'm not defending that vote. She's now on board to getting us out. I still believe that she's the most qualfied candidate. I'm going to support her if she's the nominee and if Barack is the nominee I'll support him, unless Huckabee wins the GOP nom...(JUST KIDDING!!!!) Note, you're wasting your breath trying to change my vote, I already voted!

6. Believe me --- there are plenty of offensive posters on both...
...sides.

And I do agree that it is far better to share what is RIGHT about your candidate vs what is WRONG with theirs.

That being said, I work in education and I can tell you *unequivocally* Obama has captured the imagination and idealism of young voters. They like that he is not the most "experienced" - in fact, they are sick of what "experienced" politicians have done to our country.

It's time to pass the baton to the younger generation, for Obama represents the hope of the future and invites inclusivenesses here at home and internationally. Obama can win the GE. And he will do it by bringing people together from all walks and party's.

peace~:)

18. Agreed...
the more they talk, the more I am for her...I have never donated to a campaign but they help me to make that decision and I will do it again if necessary. I have been watching how the media and all of the talkshow hosts have been beating her up as though Obama walks on water.

19. She is a better candidate.
In my view, this is nothing short of the French revolution, when the poor rose against the rich. Obama is supported by the well-to-do crowd, while Clinton stands for the poor and oppressed. She may not be wallowing in cash like Obama, but she has the votes of the working class folks.

23. good, then I'm sure you will find that hillary supporting the slaughter
of children via cluster bombs in civilian areas when she voted against the ban really offensive.

Senate Amendement 4882: vote to ban cluster bombs in civilian areas:

Clinton voted against the ban
Obama voted for the ban

Is that derisive enough for you?
