Wow, has this turned into a 3rd grade playground or am I missing something?

You can't turn around in here without running into a "I won't vote for ____" thread or a "____ is a liar" thread. Primary season is supposed to be fun and exciting and the time to sharpen our political acumen, but somewhere along the line, things have devolved into a shouting match reminiscent of the old Yahoo message boards.

First, for those that won't vote for xyx if they get the nomination..... shut your yaps. Do you realize that you sound exactly like Rush, Beck, Coulter, Dobson, and all the other RW gasbags over McCain? Do you SERIOUSLY want to be in that league? Are 4 more years of a Republican in the WH worth staying home out of spite? I certainly hope not. Mark my words, McCain will be the GOP nominee... so ask yourself, is having him in the WH worth some pissing contest?

Both sides have their issues and perceptions they need to overcome. Deal with it. Clinton fatigue, Obama's greenness, Bill in the WH, Rezko/Excleon, cold and calculating, arrogant, pretentious..........whatever it is, learn to deal with it. It's only going to get uglier AFTER the convention.

Do any of these make either candidate not worth supporting once the convention is over?

Hell no.

But if you still feel the need to stay home like some butt-hurt 4th grader, nobody can stop you. However, you do forfeit your right to complain about anything and have anyone give two shits. You didn't bother to participate, so why should anyone care. If you stay home and, (ugh), the GOP wins in November, we do reserve the right to punch you in the nose if you say "See! I told you!" Those of us that will vote, no matter what, will hold you in just as much contempt as those who vote for the GOP.

So fight about issues, fight about policy, it doesn't matter.

Is either candidate perfect? No.

Is either candidate "unelectable"? No.

Remember that, and leave this juvenile crap to the righties. I'm rather enjoying watching the GOP implode over the inevitiablity of McCain winning the nomination. Let's not do it here.
