2. As soon as the goodies go up for Donations on DU, you can bet that...

I and all others that both post and support the site will be there to donate. DU never goes without getting the required donations (in a very short period of time I might add) when they put up the donation punch fest that they do.

Oh, and on edit.. Yes it is a great site for sure... We have our differences, but when push comes to shove we will work it out.

3. K & R. Donating to DU is a great personal investment.

Since becoming a DU member, I've routinely called my called my Congressional reps and local progressive talk radio, I've helped with get out the vote effort, I've met my Governor, a Senator, Michael Moore, Cindy Sheehan for the first Crawford Bush protest and attended other protests, as well, caucused and am now a delegate.

I might have done so anyway, with or without DU. But I applaud DU for being a touchstone for the marketplace of ideas, to quote Thomas Jefferson.
