Social Software: Obama's difference that makes the difference...
I do online community building for a living, and am truly impressed with Obama's website. Obama's website has taken full and utter advantage of social software technologies. Simply put, Web 2.0 technologies (social software technologies) are driving his website.

This is making an ENORMOUS difference for him, and I think, probably the reason he wins the caucus states. His website is DESIGNED for organizing and local meetups. People in the press need to be covering this a bit more, but the truly terrific approach they've taken here is a big part of the reason why his "movement" has taken hold so well.

Yes, the candidate and his message are HUGE, but the website truly builds and strengthens the social network.

My prediction: Regardless how this race comes out, Obama's website will be a model for all campaigns to follow in the next few cycles.
