to do it.

And, I wonder when the cash infusion will stop.. $6,000,000 in one day - I think that has to be a record.. and I think there are a lot of jealous candidates.

Hope = Cash!

On Wednesday, the Clinton campaign set a new goal of raising $3 million over the next three days through the Internet.

"We have had one of our best fundraising efforts ever on the Web today and our Super Tuesday victories will only help in bringing more support for her candidacy," said Clinton campaign spokesman Howard Wolfson.

Question: Can Canadians donate to the democratic candidates? Both are awesome to me, they both want change for the US. I was backing Kuchinich (sp) then changed to Edwards, am so sorry he quit. You all got two awesome candidates running and either one will be milestones better than any Republican candidates. Got to donate to DU too.

in this idiot race is starting to REALLY OFFEND ME -

at one point there were I think a total of 16 candidates on both sides - wonder what the total amt of money raised has been - and what might have been done with that - like oh I don't know - feed hungry people, house the homeless etc etc etc

THIS IS OBSCENE....

27. The real way to look at it is that this is the power of people - real people
investing in something that they really believe in...

I think it is a beautiful thing...it isn't corporations, it isn't big business, it isn't lobbiests...its real people, getting involved in democracy...getting excited about politics...getting excited about the country...I think it is an mazing, inspiring, wonderful thing...

And, Obama will know - the day he gets into office exactly who put him in there, and exactly who he is working for...again, a beautiful thing!

72. Huffy about millions of people participating in Democracy?
ooh yeah way to participate in Democracy click a few buttons on the internet give to a candidate to piss away on foolish Super Bowl commercials - or however all 16 of them pissed away money - too bad these millions of people didn't participate in Democracy by getting their sorry asses into the streets when GW Bush stole Florida in 2000 or Ohio in 2004

maybe they will when they steal it again this year - or maybe the M$M will tell them move along nothing to see here - nothing wrong

oooh and how about that power to the MILLIONS who DID get in the street to protest Iraq before it even happened - or how about the way a kazillion calls were placed to try to stop Alito from being confirmed - that did a whole ton of good - and man Barack and Hillary really helped us out on that one - yep I'm pretty sure Barack joined Joe Biden and maybe Hillary too I can't even remember now - in one round of voting no on cloture - GEEEEZ THANKS GUYS that sure was special - oh I know they were keeping their powder dry - Alito is still on the SC for oh I don't know probably at least 25 more years maybe more I think he is only about 55...and there are a ton of other examples too.

It is an illusion that we are participating in Democracy this place is run by the corporations with the help of the enabling politicians who personally benefit by it and of course their spokes people the M$M.

HUFFY about homeless people - hungry people - and pissed away money - man what was I thinking....

70. Sadly you missed my point completely
I was not just referring to St Barack freaking rock star second coming of Jesus H Christ Obama - but maybe you were blinded by the glare of his halo to actually read and comprehend what I was talking about.

that spending all this fucking money - by ALL the candidates BOTH SIDES - is in fact obscene when we have seniors who have to choose between medicine and food, when we have people living on the fucking street - when we have mother's who have to bundle their children in winter coats when they go to bed at night because they can't afford the heating bill - and on and on and on

wonder what some good homeless shelter or organization that advocate for the poor could have done with the money Barack Obama pissed away on the Super Bowl ad - or what did Mayor 9-11 spend to get 1 delegate or whatever the hell he ended up getting

the point is the way we run - spending all this money - and fund these campaigns IS OBSCENE - and in the end our candidates are still chosen by the M$M....go figure

Do not give another dime to this campaign. This is just greed. If you must give him money, give it to your favorite charity in his name. It is sinful to ask for money when you do not need it.

How come you all do not reply to me? Did I type something wrong? I honestly think that both Senators are throwing their heart and soul into this campaign as they want America to stop the trainwreck that has been going on over the past 7 years. The White House is not a timeshare but I would be pleased to have Senator Hilary Clinton back just so that the Repulicans can be kicked out. The world is looking on people! Please take America back. 51. Democrats are voting with the dollars as they contribute
Obama is winning the hearts and minds of Democrats, and they are sending him their money because they believe he is the choice.

Clinton is running out of money because Democrats do not believe she will win. If they did, they'd be sending her money. She has tapped out all her major contributors, and unlike Obama, she does not have a half million contributors. She has a fraction of that number, and they are not excited about sending her more money.

The inability of Clinton to come anywhere close to Obama in both contributors and money being raised for the primaries now is a good indicator that she is falling back and he is moving ahead.

In the all-important race for delegates to win the Democratic nomination, Hillary Rodham Clinton won 641 this week and Barack Obama won 633, CBS reported Wednesday morning.

No, wait: NBC declared that Obama won the lion's share of delegates in Super Tuesday balloting, 838 to Clinton's 834.

Obama was more optimistic: He gave himself 847 delegates to Clinton's 834.

By the end of the day, CNN put Clinton's overall total at 1,113 delegates to Obama's 963.

Meanwhile, the Associated Press count had Clinton at 1,045 and Obama at 960. AP, which USA TODAY uses as the official count, awarded Clinton 784 delegates in Tuesday's voting and Obama 764.
