Hillary supporters, you're sounding REALLY desperate. |
|
The invective coming out of the Hillary backers at the moment, whether it's "He's scared to debate Hillary!" after previously having had SEVENTEEN debates, or "He's the Media Candidate!(TM)" after Clinton spent a year with the word "frontrunner" attached to her name in every newscast, is coming off as really kind of pathetic.
I realize I shouldn't give you folks advice, since this ridiculous crap is going to drive people over to Obama, but I will anyway. You'd sound a lot less delusional if you were capable of admitting that your candidate is in a bad position at the moment between the momentum and the lack of cash. You'd also do well not to argue that we should only be trying to win the states which Kerry and Gore won. That's not a winning strategy.
On the bright side, every minute that you keep throwing out smears, you're proving Obama more qualified for the general: by the time the convention rolls around, the Hillary supporters are already going to have used up all the slime campaigns that the Republicans would have brought out.

She's desperate and running low on cash. Since Murdoch and Hillary are such good friends, he's coming to the rescue to make sure his favored candidate gets some free airtime with softball questions. After all, what better way to ensure at least 4 more years of GOP rule than to run Hillary in the general? Either way if she wins or loses, he wins.

yesterday i got a call from the youngest of my two daughters who are living in Idaho. She had just been to her first caucus and hesitatingly asked who i wanted to vote for in november. when i said Obama she broke out in cheers and the highlights of the caucus night started to pour out of her with an energy that was infectious. she said they had only expected 400 people, but had to turn people away as over 1000 people showed up. she said they were of all sorts & overwhelmingly for Obama.I told her when i turned on the news & saw the results of the Idaho primary, I said " Thank you, my girls!" it is so wonderful to live to see your children be so filled with the ideals & dreams that you had when you were younger & still hold so dearly to even through all the crap of these last years. :grouphug: :headbang:

My late dad did this for me as a kid in the 60's - he would tell me his thoughts and ask what I thought - it signaled respect, introspection and critical thinking. He also taught me to deal with those who disagree with respect, to listen and make cogent arguments. All of this contributed greatly to what I am today -like him, a humble truthseeker.
I know they will remember this all their lives.

12. Never mind that she is trending DOWN while he is trending UP. |
|
Every state that she won, she won by less than expected. Every state the he won, he won by more than expected. To win by 5 points where two weeks ago she led by 25 points is, truely, still a win but it does not bode well for NEXT week.
She's peaked. She's broke. She's all but done.

to each hold a caucus. There would be legitimate campaigning, followed by legitimate voting with actual delegates awarded per the vote. If the delgates are seated according to the joke of a primary that each state had, that would be criminal.

enough we'd find something creepy about some of the stuff Hill supporters are telling THEIR people? Obviously this was not something endorsed by Obama Camp.. it was some looney toon going off and doing her own thing. ALL CAMPAIGNS have looney toons ! But I wouldn't believe this crap, even about Hillary, based on one report like this. I'm just sayin, it takes all kinds and in a pool of millions of people.. take it with a grain, yanno?

the most part I do not attribute the cult to the obamacamers--well, some of them yes I do. Maybe for me the story hit a spot cause of this 'movement' that obama talks about a lot. He is not an outsider as he makes himself out to be. He brings on a lot of Savior/hero worship himself and there is sense that his followers just ride along on the wave.

Obama has been kissed by The New York Times and The Guardian. They don't want another megalomaniac in the White House who sways with rhetoric and blunders policy, another one claiming to be a "uniter." Gawd, what a red flag, claiming to be a uniter.
Howl all you want and struggle against the slipknot of the "cult" meme. It's out there.
