17. I'd have to concur. Lakoff says you need to set your political frames, not repeat your opponent's.

Sometimes it's hard to resist getting drawn in, and that's what a good frame does. It draws you in and makes you defend it, and by defending it, you give it legs and ultimately a sense of legitimacy.

I do feel that this stuff is better coming out in the primaries than the GE. Obama needs to show he can defuse negative frames, and set new ones of his own, both about him and his opponent. That's what good nominees are made of.
