He presents things in an interesting way that many of us may not have thought of. Sometimes, when it's not too maddening, he's pretty funny too.

Not always factually accurate, but propaganda isn't supposed to be. I agree with him on some things and not on others, but acknowledge and respect his abilty to create powerful propaganda in either event.

Let's hear the Clinton supporters blast him:
Since he's on record as saying that her vote for the war makes it "morally impossible" for him to vote for her.
*edited to take out the flame bait that I put in. Thought better of it once I posted it*

Divide & Conquer politics at its finest on display by the HRC campaign. We also know their vindictiveness, so who knows how she's going to get even with those of us who refuse to kiss the ring.

going on. Most of his films could have been done without him in them BUT the content is always good. Isn't it interesting that the right always attacks him and not the content...it's hard to refute what is captured on film/tape/digital.

|
No, you'll just bash him for his weight and his wealth.
You'll also conveniently forget that his movies are also filled with 3/4 truth and a call to action (with 1/4 being fluff movie stuff).

28. I don't worship at his altar either, but his movies do have a purpose |
|
Sure, he makes a handsome penny, but they raise awareness and he spends a lot of that money he makes on good causes. He also hasn't forgotten where he came from and is an outspoken advocate of the dangers of outsourcing and the erosion of American jobs.
I believe his making money is purely coincidental. His first purpose is advocacy and awareness, at which he makes a lot of good money doing. Good for him.

20. I give Michael Moore a lot of credit for health care reform being a major issue in this campaign |
|
"Sicko" woke a lot of people up who previously didn't have a clue just how fucked the system was. Moore's movies are often the only major "media" voice holding corporate America accountable. I wish he would do a TV show like TV Nation or The Awful Truth again.

I think his own motivations may be more to make $$$$$ than to help the actual causes.
Nonetheless, he raises the awareness on a lot of issues and does it in a thoughtful way. At least he's not like Alex Jones.

I don't like it when he ambushes people in interviews, like he did with Charlton Heston. I think Charlton is a fool, but that was unfair.

|
Edited on Thu Feb-07-08 12:03 PM by sam sarrha
it is stupid to pick and choose your religious restrictions... what about the people who worked on products you use who supported war..or Genocide... the chinese government has perpetrated Genocide against the Tibetans, murdering 1.25 million, forcing monks at gun point to have sex with nuns or they would murder entire villages, forcing the villagers to watch, giving entire neighborhoods 10 minutes to vacate housing in Himalayan winters.. then destroying their homes because they were traditional Tibetan style buildings.. 10's of thousands froze to death. so is he not buying anything chinese..?? just be a man and say he doesn't like her..
be anti war... be against their stand.. who will change the mission first, pull the troops out first.. without causing more suffering than our piece of shit wet brain alcoholic pResident already has.
i am disappointed he blames the church for his decisions
