A Question for Serious Politicos |
|
What if Dean decides to seat the Florida and Michigan (I think it is Michigan) delegates at the last minute?
Could they be allowed to vote independently?
Could this be a possible strategy for swinging the nomination to Hilary if it remains a close race?
I don't know the inner workings of the electoral college system so I'm asking.
Thanks in advance.

1. Dean was quoted (yesterday, I think) about not seating those delegates |
|
He said he was considering holding cauacuses in both Michigan and Florida in March to replace the already ran non-competitive primaries.
That would probably be the only fair way to seat delegates from those two states.
