Barack Obama does not deserve this kind of rep, but he's got to take stronger action to keep it from happening. The money and adulation may be nice, but they have a tendency to bite the recipient in the ass.

At this point, the danger is still small, but things are happening fast. Now that he is no longer the underdog, perhaps some passions will cool to the point where that zeal can change into deliberative political behavior.
