NO MORE TELEVISED DEBATES! I have a better idea! |
|
Instead, let's have the candidates participate in a special edition Jeopardy Tournament!
The categories will be topics like Current Events, Civil Rights, Constitutional Law, World Leaders, Geography, Science, The Environment, Military History, etc.
Obama, Clinton and Gravel would first face one another.
Then McCain, Huckabee and Paul would compete.
The winning Repuke would face the winning Democrat.
I'm not saying that this alone should determine who gets to be President.
But imagine if we had done this in 2000? Or in 2004?
If we had done this in 2000, Al Gore would have won by a landslide and George W. Bush would have been placed in some sort of group home.
The current debate format is as structured and contrived as a games show anyway, so this is not so much of a stretch.

1. I can understand why Obama supporters don't want more debates... |
|
yet the one a week suggested by HRC would exhaust me.
