and I think he did just fine on terrorism and Iraq. I like that he is talking to the press and answering questions and showing he can stand up to real questioning. That's a real President.

On the plane, my colleague Lisa Lerer reports, he rejects Romney's argument that he had to drop out to give the Republicans more time to unify and avoid “aiding a surrender to terror.”

“That’s the kind of poorly thought though statement that led him to have to drop out,” said Obama. “It’s a classic attempt to appeal to people’s fears.”

Also, suggests Hillary should release her tax returns, if she's going to be putting her own money into the campaign.

(Also: A reader notes that while Hillary has had more than $5 million from her books, and presumably more from investments, she presumably also paid taxes on it, so that number still seems like a lot coming from her personal holdings.)"
