6. He recently said some unflattering things about Edwards.
There was quite a stink about it. Maybe people have gotten over it though.

8. In my book Feingold is NEVER NEVER
persona non grata. He is an grade A-No. 1 senator and if all senators were like him, we'd still have an intact constitution, the Geneva Conventions would be enforced as well as many other things he stands for.

7. He already has shown he supports Obama by swiftboating Obama's only netroots rival
The only place outside of WI where Feingold matters is the netroots. He didn't do it to help Hillary, who is hated in the blogosphere...

9. No, it was just some straight talk
He's always been the real straight talker in the Senate (unlike the fake one McCain). I'd rather he endorsed Obama, but if he wants to stay out of it, I respect that. He's earned that.

10. Deceit isn't straight talk
He never mentioned Hillary doing the same things, nor did he go after Kerry for the same things in 2004, nor did he mention Kennedy, Leahy and other progressives and most Democrats voted with Edwards (and Hillary and Kerry) on those things. Wellstone voted for the Patriot Act, for instance.
