Who do you think would be more likely to beat McCain? Obama or Clinton? And more importantly why do you feel that way?

7. I think I'm finally leaning to Obama.
HRC has more meat on the bones of her issue statements and Obama has more personality. Under other conditions I'd tend toward the wonky one (HRC) but Obama and McCain both draw a lot of independents. It might be possible for Mc to pull enough independents to cover the loss of his base if HRC is the candidate 'cause at least some of the base would come out just 'cause it's her. Obama would pull from the independents and not energize the base as much as HRC.

In a just world with fair competition Obama should be able to defeat Mc easily.

That said, something Pat Buchanan said caught my ear. "If Bill Clinton can throw his campaign into a tizzy with a few comments and innuendo, what do you think the Republican dirty trick machine will do to him?"

I wish I could smush them both into one candidate . . .

8. From conversations I've had, Obama.
I've talked to a fair amount of Indie's and pissed off ex-Republicans who seem to view Obama favorably. Almost every single one of them was rabidly anti-Clinton.

Just an observation.
