I've already blocked a couple of posters, one from each "camp" (not really sure either one is actually an Obama or Clinton supporter since they seem to loathe members of the Democratic Party) and already I breathe easier.

The admins made the button for a reason. It's an underused feature, but I remember being told by a Power That Be here some time ago that liberally employing it will vastly improve my reading experience at DU. I'll try and see if life without gratuitous hurricanes is indeed nicer.

There's a few people here that are a waste of time, but I take the good with the bad.

6. Update: I've now blocked out two from each camp and the board is much nicer to look at

I thought I'd have to block out ten or more before I saw results. Seriously... with just four people gone, the ugly is appreciably diminished.
