And, although I'd still vote for Kerry, I'm part of the Hoosiers Against Bayh Squad.

of course I would like it if he picked Clark but I will vote Kerry no matter who he decides he needs, even if it were Zell Miller. :puke:

4. The right VP will make the difference |
|
between winning decisively or winning by a small enough margin for the Bush Regime to pull of some kind of shenanigans. That's why I think Edwards is our safest bet.

it will affect whether he gets my money, time and effort. If he doesn't choose Clark, he gets my vote ONLY.

9. What's wrong with my attitude? |
|
I think I've come a long way..baby! I DETEST John Kerry. He's lucky to get my vote. Period. Sorry I haven't fallen in line like I'm expected to do, but I DO think my vote is enough if he doesn't choose who I want for VP....considering I don't even like the man.

12. It is a damn great attitude. |
|
If he wants to make Kerry fight for his support, then that's good. Follow-the-leader support that you're advocating promotes wishy-washy politicians and is an insult to democracy. Of course, I find his capriciousness about Clark a bit silly; but it's a hell of a lot better than blind support.

:cry::cry: I devoted 4 1/2 months working my behind off for Wes Clark. He's the ONLY candidate who has ever inspired me to get involved in his campaign. I wrote 900 letters for him. I made 100 phone calls for him. I drove from Illinois to Nashville, TN to work for his TN campaign for 4 days and we maxed out at $4000 donating to his campaign. I don't think wanting my candidate to be the VP because I feel he is the best choice, is silly or capricious. :( I LOVE that man and honestly believe...with all my heart, that HE is the man Kerry NEEDS to win. I really DO detest Kerry though. :(
I'm a "she", btw. :*

|
....with Kerry's choice for VP? He could pick his dog, or a toaster, and I'd still vote for him. Now, if he picked Jimmy Swaggart or Brother R.W. Shambauch, I might have qualms....

and it actually has something that comes out of it that you can swallow! I get the feeling a toaster won't care about war too much... I mean it might not have an issue with global warming because it doesn't have issues with things burning, but, I am sure that it will be content without ever going to war.

I have a clear preference for a running mate, and my level of enthusiasm will be impacted, but I would vote for him and support him even if he picked Zell Miller.
Getting rid of Bush is by far the biggest issue for me.

With a cool VP candate on the ticket...Clark, Edwards, ????
On edit: He could also *really* dampen my enthusiasm with a stale, moderate, old-school pick -- Gephardt, for example. Gep is a fine public servant, but the American electorate has had numerous chances to support him over the last 25 years, and he's never caught on. Just one example...
