16. She's not a flip flopper. However, Obama is a flip flopper plus a hypocrite, so he's a flippocrite
because he claims on one hand to be the only candidate who's entirely against the war, but on the other hand he votes to fund it all the time, so he's not only a flip flopper, but a hypocrite, which makes him the one and only flippocrite.

2. Good to know!
I would have opposed that disaster too.
That is one of the first things I want scrapped in 2009.

3. So did 47 of 49 Democrats but Obamites NEVER mention that
Noted DINos Paul Wellstone, Patrick Leahy, and Ted Kennedy (who wrote it) also voted for it. :eyes:

St. Obama of No Record has the same position on No Child that Hillary has no. In fact he is the most RW on education.

5. And Obama's god Ted Kennedy was a co-sponsor
I despised him for that, but at least Hill is talking about fixing it.

11. You don't fix cancer. You eradicate it.
Richardson said he would support the end of NCLB, and Biden said he would consider it. Those are the strongest, most positive statements I heard about NCLB from candidates. Kucinich and Edwards also made some quite hopeful statements about NCLB and high-stakes testing.

Neither Hillary nor Obama are on top of this issue. Between the two of them, though, HRC has to win the public education issue by default, because Obama's is so bad. From this teacher's perspective.

14. NCLB is one of the worst things to come from the Bush years
And that's saying a lot. I would love to see a stake put through the heart of that awful bill, too.

18. I have to hope for that,
even if it seems unlikely.

It keeps me shielded from breaking down under the stress and rage NCLB engenders.

10. Didn't Ted Kennedy sponsor it so he could get his brother Bobby's name
on some building (I forgot which one?)The old Hoover building maybe?

People had hope it would do good...but it was a blunder. Did Obama vote for it? I have no idea.
Enlighten me...gently.

20. Because, there is a good chance she is going to be my president one day, I want to know why she....
voted for this bill, a lot of people talk about how there is no substance on this site, lets get down to it. Tell me why i should vote for her when i can not understand why she voted for this. Tell me why, that is reasonable.
