1. I think Carl Levin is going to be the Secretary of Defense

for whoever is the Dem President

If she wins the top spot, she may offer the VP to Obama, which I assume he would accept.

Hillary would see that as a genuine opportunity to do the policy wonk stuff, just like Al Gore did. Barack would not like to take a seat behind Bill Clinton, and there's no question Bill would "be there." And Barack is not the policy wonk guy; he's the big picture guy.
