The reason Obama is more successful than Clinton with fundraising is b/c of his LARGE 500,000 person base of small donors. Joe Trippi tried to get the Clintons to implement the small donor plan in the early stages of her campaign, but they didn't listen and went with the big corporate donors instead. They didn't know Obama would still be a presence after Super Tuesday. She really shot herself in the foot on that one.

I read a comment from a voter in Mass. who said that it is his impression that Hillary won, not in spite of the Kennedys, but because the voters elected Obama's near-double as governor (Gov. Patrick). Both are friends and shared campaign planning. His slogan was "Together we can" while Obama's is "Yes, we can." Both have light resumes and focus on "inspiration." They both have Harvard and an African-American heritage in common.

This voter said that Governor Patrick doesn't seem to have the experience to be an effective governor, so his opinion was that voters went for experience this time and voted for Hill.

After a hard-working policy wonk cleans up the mess, then we'll all welcome an inspirational president. Right now we've come off 7 years of someone we were told to "trust" who had a weak resume. Once burned...
