4. CNN can't stop pissing on HRC |
|
Telling men that HRC is the "Women's " candidate shames men from supporting her

2. In the General Election polls, they both attract about the same number of women but Clinton loses |
|
more men which is why Obama polls so much better against McCain.

More men support Obama because they don't want a woman in office. You can yap all day the reasons it's just because it's Hillary, blah, blah, blah. The fact is, men are not ready for a woman.

7. Is anything every because of her personally? Everything negative is because |
|
of her gender and not simple her. Everything good is because of her as a unique individual. Some of the negative may actually have to do with her as the candidate and not her gender.
Bill Clinton never did particularly well with men either. He won because of the women's vote and he never had to reach 50%.

14. Our party was ready for a woman until one ran. We have a serious double standard in our party. |

I'm also white and over 45 - so screw the pundits and pollsters. I have a mind of my own.

10. I am a woman who is voting for Obama. |
|
My daughter is too.
Why are we surprised that gender issues show up in a nominating process which includes the first serious woman candidate?
It was bound to happen. Many man will have trouble seeing a women as president. And many women want to be able to vote for the first woman president.
Sexism is a deeper ism in our culture than racism as hard as that is to believe. Glass ceilings are hard to crack and this is a major one for our society.

The MSM likes to categorize everyone and the truth is, each candidate does better in certain populations. Certainly doesn't mean there's a gender issue.

12. sexism is more of a factor than racism in this country. |
|
Especially in "a time of war". It's regrettable but true.
I think it's dumb to vote for a person simply because they are the same sex as you. Vote for the person and what you think they'll do as president.
I'm a white female age 55 who is for Obama. Because I trust him to try to fix what's broken, and I don't think Hillary will try.
