8. I think that you could have SO much fun with an Obama flavor! |
|
Something to reflect his heritage!
(Please don't consider this racist or insensitive, it's meant to celebrate his heritage) -Chocolate and Vanilla swirl ice cream -Something to reflect his time spent in Indonesia and Hawaii...coffee beans? coconuts? -Something else to reflect Chicago...???
Hillary? I don't know. Just vanilla ice cream? ;)

Just for kicks, I submitted "Baracky Road to the White House" on the Ben and Jerry's site. If they make it, I owe you a pint. http://www.benjerry.com/our_company/contact_us/forms/suggestion.cfm

13. ignorant. there's a reason JE valued Ben's endorsement |
|
and it's the same reason Obama and his supporters do: Ben runs a 450,000 strong progressive organization- and those members vote.
Here:
TrueMajority is an organization which advocates certain changes to U. S. Government policy (summarized by 10 principles listed below); these changes are called liberal or progressive in the U. S., and would constitute a large divergence from U. S. policy to date, but TrueMajority holds that many if not most U. S. citizens would actually favor making such changes. The organization's basic strategy is that people register for free as TrueMajority members; then, when TrueMajority decides it is important to send a message to the government (usually specifically to the U.S. Congress), TrueMajority will send emails to all its members, containing a brief policy statement; members may ignore each statement, or may approve it by sending a reply email. Whenever a member approves a statement, that statement will be faxed to that member's Congressional representatives in that member's name. Members may also modify the statement or replace it with another to be faxed. The whole process is automated and is advertised to take members two minutes per month (assuming they don't want to write their own statements).
TrueMajority was founded by Ben Cohen, co-founder of Ben and Jerry's.
TrueMajorityACTION is a separate but closely related organization, which has a different status under U. S. law so that it can campaign for specific parties and politicians.
As of July 2005, TrueMajority claims 435,000 members; TrueMajorityACTION claims 150,000

16. Don't laugh...I met Ben at the Edwards party after the Iowa caucus. |
|
He adored John Edwards. This endorsement was important for Edwards. So, Edwards dropped out and Ben needed to find another candidate to endorse.
As an Edwards supporter you should be proud that Ben chose John first.
Now he is choosing Obama. It is a good endorsement.

21. I guess you aren't familiar with True Majority?- |
|
B&J's has been one of the best companies who have GENEROUSLY supported many progressive, grass root, and humanitarian causes that have existed over the last few decades.
Your envy is obvious.

All good.
If BO get the nomination, I'll bet that B&J comes out with a flavor for him.
McCain would be old, boring vanilla.
