1. No. He doesn't even do that well with evangelicals anymore. |
|
The fact that he couldn't win SC should tell you something. His whole "change the constitution for Jesus" idea really sunk him.

4. Also he pissed off a lot of people in SC when he dredged up yet another Confederate Flag fight. |
|
For the most part, we've settled the issue here and for him to come into this state and "pull the scab off the wound" (as some were saying), well, that really hurt him.

2. I think it's almost impossible. |
|
The mathematics are CLOSE to impossible, but what makes it really out of reach is McCain's momentum and the fact that the establishment is lining up behind him, albeit slowly.
If you're worried about having Huckleberry in the White House, worry about it with Huck as VP, not President.

Huckabee as a Veep to win over a chunk of the RW that hates McCain would deal the closer Bush circle out. At this point the election veers toward being close or a landslide(advantage currently Dems in a landslide for all the fearmongering). Well, we'll see. After the voters have their say the real gameboard will be reset. We might be worrying about a sorry replay of Clinton/Dole and then shifting our worries to the compromised Dems having to deal sidelong with the mess that the crooks have deliberately left behind.
