MSNBC puts Hillary's "Headliners & Legends" into heavy rotation? Must be sucking up to HRC |
|
Ran it twice on Thursday, now again? It seems like the Clinton camp is getting their way. Is there an Obama "Headliners & Legends?"

until one of his family members was insulted to get equal air time for a prime time campaign commercial packaged as a biography.

4. See, This Is What Ya Just Don't Get: Obama Just Doesn't Have The Experience And History That |
|
Hillary does.
Obama's been great in his own right, but you can't consider them equals as it relates to longevity and experience, or the likelihood that they would have a 'headliners & legends' special. Now granted, someday Obama probably will. He just hasn't earned it yet.
You may believe that Obama would make a better president, and maybe he would. But you can't stand up and legitimately make a claim that his history is equal or greater than hers, or that if she has a H&L special that he has earned one as well. That's just monumentally disingenuous.

She probably made the right decision there, actually... But I digress.
Fact is, that was a really weak response on your part and if you think any of your parrot type talking points are enough to erase a brilliant 35 year career, you're friggin nuts. You obviously missed the point of my post completely. No biggie though.

What part of slaughter children don't you understand?
And most Democrats voted for that ban. Clinton sided with the Republicans.

|
The thread is about her H&L special. I explained why airing it was legitimate. Stick to the fucking topic and context please.
Jeez, some people have such limited one track minds.

12. Said it in another thread... |
|
“Decision from corporate. Makes sense for them to do to get past the Shuster flap. The piece is part of their fluff bio-series. (an offshoot of the “Headliners & Legends” series. It wasn't planned to run now as you can see from the local channel guides. Their usual “crime” stuff was supposed to be aired. “Deadly Encounter (dealing with the death of Kendra Webdale)” was originally scheduled.”
They cannot afford for her to bag on a debate on the network. Those are Nielsen numbers they cannot afford to lose—thus the schedule tweak to appease. Money's tight for the campaign, so the free pub is a bit of a sop to gloss over ill-feelings.
Not saying I agree with it, but from a corporate stance, I can absolutely understand it happening.

13. Funny - I never saw anything of Kerry when he was the nominee. Not like he had |
|
much of a story that guy - war hero, helped stop a war, prosecuted mob bosses, uncovered IranContra, uncovered BCCI, uncovered CIA drugrunning, wrote a book in 1997 warning of the growing global terror problem - stuff like that. No Headlines and Legends biography for that guy.
