As an Obama supporter (but Clinton admirer--I will be happy if either wins), I'm all too aware that the tables may be turned when it comes time for Ohio, Texas, Pennsylvania, etc.

This will be a tight race to the finish--Obama got lucky that "his" states came first. But Hillary will have her comeback.

Let me get the actual numbers and I'll post them tomorrow or Monday.

I have a very strong intiution about these things and am good at looking at numbers from far away and extropolating.

seriously you can be speaking directly to me.
I try to stay out of the blatantly inflammatory posts and just ignore those who seem not to be looking for answers or dialog but instead to fight.
And I know it's a minority of folks on each sides that stir up the crap. But how many times do we have to say cut the crap and it be ignored?
What happens when they convince you since it's just a game to them, that as long as the other side loses it doesn't matter if you're an asshole, because winning is everything?
Because I'm just about at the stage of wtf, why not go with scorched earth mentality, doesn't seem like there's much worth saving around here.

7. It's All About The Snark... Or The Use There-Of... Or The Lack There-Of...

For most of my 52 years, people on either side of an issue, people supporting different candidates of the same party, and once upon a time, people from both parties, used to know how to give and take a good ridbbing, because we were all part of something bigger.

Those seem like quaint remembrances even to me, especially now, but...

We at least have to get our partisan selves together soon, and it would be lovely if we could get the rest of the country to come with us. Or at least, as much as we can.

8. The plethera of civility pledge threads

that popped up gave me enough pause to take a deep breath and let the attacks roll off my back.
But I think it was the VA J-J dinner thread that reminded me not to take this stuff too seriously.

Besides taking shots at Clinton supporters tonight would feel like hunting Cheney style. It just wouldn't be sportsmen-like.
