With 16% reporting.

I don't get how these candidates who withdraw can still be on the ballot.
Anyways, every time that someone here posts a direct link to an exit poll, all I see is blank.

so just trust me on these results.
Try it anyway.

1. The ballots are printed up weeks before. We will have Edwards
on our ballot if the sample that was sent to me in the mail is what they will have at the voting booth. I vote next Tuesday.

People are voting for Romney out of protest.

2. WA has a significant Mormon population.
That'll explain some of the Romney support.

4. It's not that significant, only 3%
Even among Republicans, that shouldn't account for almost 20%.

7. Mormons vote at a higher rate than the general population
so if a lot were to show up in a primary that not many people voted in...

3. Does WA have a caucus AND a primary?
That's the impression I'm getting from CNN's website.

6. Yes, BUT...
Demucratic delegates are only determined by the caucuses. The primary counts for nothing. (State law requires a primary.)

Republican delegates are determined by both, roughly half each (I think 21 of 40 by caucus, 19 of 40 by primary.
