Brace yourselves, Clinton supporters. She is not going to win
The insiders are going to ask her to drop out very soon after McCain locks his nomination. Obama not only clearly has the momentum in the primary, but he is also the obvious winner when put up ageist McCain.

In the general election, he will take all the blue states, simply because he is the Democrat, and he has proven without a doubt now that he can also win some red states in a general election, unlike Clinton.

I'm disappointed that it came to this choice between Clinton and Obama, since Kucinich or Edwards never really had a chance thanks to the corporate media. But Clinton is by far the worse of the two, and I'm glad to see that she will lose.

45. flash! . . . neither one of them will beat McCain . . .
why? . . . because the Republicans control the voting machines! . . . the Democrats have had at least two years to do something to return the election process to the people, but they've done nothing . . . just as they did in 2000 and 2004, the Republicans are ready to fix the vote count in enough states to insure that McCain wins no matter who the Democratic nominee is . . .

Empire America's Bread and Circuses
http://www.thepeoplesvoice.org/cgi-bin/blogs/voices.php/2008/02/09/empire_america_s_bread_and_circuses

(snip) . . .

Since the last election, which was won by Kerry, but was blatantly fixed to give Bush still another undeserved four years in the White House, America's electronic electoral system has been left untouched by significant reform or the imposition of any rational governmental control over it. There is no federal oversight whatsoever over the new electronic voting systems! Not only that, state after state continues buying huge numbers of corruptible Diebold and ES & S voting machines from the infamous Bob Urosevich and his brother Todd.

(snip)

Not only that, the voting machines are all linked at any given voting station. This makes it possible to change the program in one machine in about 60 seconds thusly making it a master machine and all the rest of the machines slaves. In short, in 60 seconds, an entire voting station, no matter how big, can be reprogrammed to give the election to a specified candidate.

Exit polls proved that massive vote fraud occurred in Ohio and the election was arrogantly stolen from Kerry. With gross arrogance, Ohio officials still have not corrected this situation. Worse yet, other states have been massively buying and installing Diebold and ES & S machines.

(snip)

The Dems have done almost nothing to initiate a reform of the system. Pelosi et al seem fearful of even mentioning the problem. Huge numbers of Diebold machines have been bought and installed all over America for the coming election. Very few states have moved to do much about it. California is one of the few states taking meaningful measures, and there has been some fussing in a few other states, but the picture as a whole looks very bad. In some states, efforts are being made to ban all electronic voting, but these efforts are having little or no success.

- more . . .

in the unlikely event that he wins, you are so dead wrong.

And if you would like to know why, just look at yourself in the
mirror, and jack off.

I personally do not want a president with operatives that scuzz
around the web like this bunch.

And here I was trying to stop a fellow Obama supporter from being overconfident.

I should have known better, shouldn't I? You Hillary people are just all CLASS! I mean, how could I have been so stupid? Really! Sending your ex-president husband around the country to make vaguely-racist statements about your opponent, running on said husband's record for the GOOD aspects of his Presidency (but "I'm not my husband" for the bad ones), and deliberately lying about his record in mass mailers is an AWESOME campaign strategy!

:sarcasm:

9. I don't see how she can win, even if she takes big states.
Her margins in those states are too close. Obama will win huge in the smaller but more numerous states. I don't see Hillary winning Texas by a significant enough margin to take many more delegates. It was 55-45 ten days ago, and Obama certainly has gained ground.

43. Clinton will get 73 pledged delegates in Michigan
Hillary Rodham Clinton will get the lion's share of Michigan's Democratic national convention delegates after winning the state's Jan. 15 presidential primary.

Clinton will get 73 pledged delegates after winning 55 percent of the statewide vote, the Michigan Democratic Party said Friday in a release.

Another 55 delegates will be officially uncommitted to any candidate since 40 percent of the Democratic voters chose uncommitted on the ballot. Because Barack Obama and John Edwards had taken their names off the ballot, many of their supporters voted for uncommitted in the hopes of winning some delegates to the national convention
