So I was invited to an event with Bill Clinton
in my community. There was a message on my answering machine when I got home last night. I had been an Edwards voter and was still uncommitted and the Maryland Primary is Tuesday. I did the online RSVP for the event and left the house early to allow plenty of time. I waited in a security line and when I reach the gatekeeper I was told I needed a ticket. 10 or so vehicles in front of me in line were turned away as well.

It is not good to annoy undecided voters on the eve of the primary. In fact it is pretty damn dumb.

1. Don't loan him any money, and don't let him get you alone.

2. It didn't say online that you needed a ticket?

That really sucks. And really if they called you the day of the event, how would you get the tickets? Strange, that sucks.

4. They called me the night before
and said to RSVP, which I did, but there was no ticket requirement that I saw. The event no longer exists online. Sounds like a total screw up all around.

6. That sucks
I'd be pissed really. I mean you obviously wanted to go and yet to get turned away at the door. If they called right before it how were you supposed to get tickets. Sounds like a screw up. Sorry that happened to you.

5. Yes, I was and am very much a supporter
of Martin O'Malley, though that does not translate to supporting his primary choice for President.

7. Sorry, but this doesn't surprise me
There have been free events at the Clinton Library that have not been advertised so that only cronies get the tickets. Know this because I was told of the event months in advance by one of the presenters.
