Anybody know what the popular vote count is? |
|
Michigan and Florida should obviously not count.
Obama is virtually guaranteed to have more pledged delegates and states. If he also has more raw popular votes, then he has every right to demand the superdelegates to follow their democratic consciences and back him. It effectively checkmates Hillary because she'd have to subvert every democratic principle in order to secure the nomination, and it will guarantee a schism in the Democratic party.
So does anybody have the numbers? The last time I checked was after Super Tuesday, and I think Obama had a 250 000 lead on her. That number can only have grown by then.

Even counting FL & MI for Hillary, Obama now leads in popular vote, pledged delegates & pledged delegates + SD's.
