I swiped this graph from motherjones.com, which they say they got from a McCain email.

"It's official: the former Governor of Arkansas is toast. Now it's just a matter of time until he realizes it and drops out. But hey, he doesn't have anything else to do (other than firing up that popcorn popper). I say let him have his fun."

As you can see, by the remaining delegates, and the number of delegates required, there is NO. WAY. Possible. for Huckleberry to win.

Should (or could) his supporters have him charged with fraud if he continues to campaign with no chance of winning?

Hmmmmm

1. McCain needs him. Keeps some interest in their primary, and
gets McCain some free air time. The Pukes are kind of light on donations this cycle.

It's a free country and we are democracy. Questionable at times, but yes, still one by the books.:)

5. What money?
I don't think he has any. It's truly a campaign on the cheap.

Nothing was spent on dental work either.

9. Go Huckabee! WASTE that money!
...because it's money that the GOP won't be able to ask for during the general election campaign. The more the better as far as I'm concerned.

11. Everyday Huckabee is in the race
is more PR for his 2012 run. He's building a brand for 2012. It's the only reason he's still in the race.

13. No he isn't. He's building a base for four years from now, or auditioning for the VP slot
What if McCain gets sick next month? Who's on deck?

I mean...really. It's not "all about" winning. Sometimes placing and showing pay dividends downstream.

Huckie is playing a long view game.
