Kerry should preempt possibility of Osama or WMDs being found |
|
On Osama, he should say "Bin Laden is only a figure head at Al Qaida, and terrorist attacks WILL continue. This argument would destroy *'s Osama bounce if we get another attack soon after (although that's the last thing we want)
On WMDs, he should say that it doesn't matter we found some old shells from five or six years ago, * said Saddam was a IMMINENT threat, besides, Iran and North Korea have more weapons than that.
He should be saying this NOW IMO, so he can preclude the RW media.

2. On Osama, he should also bring up Tora Bora |
|
And he NEEDS to preempt WMDs. He needs to talk in a way that we've alreayd found these both of these things, so he won't have egg on his faces when either of them occur.

4. I remember Kerry being one of the first to talk about Tora Bora. |
|
The only person who seemed more upset than Kerry was my husband who has been furious from the time he saw that fiasco unfold.

that he should work to preempt the eventual Osama capture or death. I don't think he should say Osama was just a figure head though. I think he needs to talk about how since we went into Iraq by ourselves, we have scattered Al Queada, like a turning on a light in a kitchen full of roaches. We may have killed some of them but we let a lot escape, regroup and grow stronger in other countries. Osama being captured will be a good thing but will not be the end of terrorism in the least.

5. He should be planting in peoples minds |
|
the idea that Osama may very well be found at a politically opportune moment for the Republicans, and implying that it is a politically motivated stunt if it happens. Well before it actually does happen, so that people will be able to see the political cynicism behind it.
He should be very proactive on this.

8. I think Kerry (and we)... |
|
...should be like "It's about damn time!" Shrub's got the world's biggest, meanest military and the most sophiscated intelligence network in the world and he's taken over two years to get a guy living in a friggen cave!
Kerry can point out that if Shrub's people hadn't screwed up Tora Bora and Shrub hadn't diverted over $100 billion dollars, our magnificent military and intelligence network for well over a year on an Iraqi clusterf*ck we would have had Osama a long time ago.
Now that Osama's had at least an extra year to plan and diversify we are definitely not any safer.
