The race for political campaign cash is picking up pace in the Miami Valley.

Retired Gen. Wesley Clark is scheduled to speak Tuesday in Trotwood at a Democratic fund-raiser, and Vice President Dick Cheney is scheduled to speak in Dayton on March 26 at a Bush-Cheney re-election campaign fund-raiser.

Clark is the headliner at the Frolic for Funds, the annual money-raiser held by the Montgomery County Democratic Party. The former NATO supreme commander and Democratic presidential candidate is scheduled to speak at 7 p.m. at Hara Arena. The event costs $125 per ticket and proceeds go to the county Democratic Party.

Clark was a late entry into the party's presidential primary campaign this year and dropped out after finishing first in only Oklahoma.

2. cheney coming to Arizona...again..again....

TV announced. Cheney was in AZ last month. Only stopped for 45 minutes at a remote small airport filled with old veterans, all staged. I like when the newspaper wrote that cheney's money contributions was short of what he expected....heee...heee...even when they had to give out free tickets.
