The man who needed an entire army to walk the streets of Iraq to him so he could "prove" they were safe takes top honors for being the most pathetic, and yet he is the one they chose.

Which recent Republican nominee for President (or pResident) has not been pathetic? It probably goes back to Eisenhower, yes he did some very bad things but I don't think you could call him pathetic. The Republicans who followed him though? Yeah, I think pathetic describes them pretty well.

He spent what $50 million to get one delegate--as many as Duncan Hunter. The only rethug he beat in the delegate count was Alan Keyes.

11. ron paul has run one of the best campaigns of all the candidates, aside from barack |
|
huckleberry has run a very strong campaign as well.
ron paul was raising more money in a day that some of the other clowns got in entire months, with almost no media time or anything. totally grass roots, internet stuff.

Obama's 7-million-dollar day has kind of swept away his record, but he had the single-day fundraising record for a while and people were amazed.
Also, he basically tied for second in WA.
Also, his campaign ads were very, very good.

his campaign was a complete and total dud. i watched hte guy on MTP and it was embarrassing.
romney's campaign was a disaster as well. i think a lot of evangelicals wish they could have rallied around him rather than mccain though. huckleberry is unelectable, and mitt was the choice that the rethugs should have all been able to rally around. instead they opted huckleberry, and got mccain. btw romney was my governor, and i can tell you from experience that the guy running for pres was NOT hte same guy that ran for gov.
rudy's campain was a complete disaster as well. convinced that his national polling numbers would translate into the republican nod was a huge mistake. did he ever, EVER get involved?
mmcain's campaign was kind of like kerry's from 04. everything was so crazy for the repubs, the consensus choice became mccain because they had nobody better.
