OMG!! O'Reilly uses the word "lynching" re Michelle Obama!!!
Edited on Thu Feb-21-08 12:19 PM by ailsagirl
Heard this on Countdown last night. As usual, it's getting hardly any play
in MSM.

O'Reilly: "I don't want to go on a lynching party against Michelle Obama unless
there's evidence, hard facts, that say this is how the woman really feels"

Unless?????????

:wow:

2. You're not hearing much because McCain
is front and center now. O'Reilly is yesterday's news, but should be under fire from the FCC and suspended from his radio program indefinitely for his inflammable words. Someone might just see fit to try to act on them. I hope the secret service is guarding her closely.

If A = B, then B = A

"If there is hard evidence that this is how she feels, I want to go on a lynching party."

incredible.

8. I STRONGLY disagree - I think this is a despicable word
It is NOT the same thing to casusally toss around words like "lynching" when talking about a black woman or man.

It is a sign of a deep underlying lack of racial sensitivity on Mr. O'Reily's part, if not indeed outright racism.

This is certainly on the same level as a Don Imus comment on the Rutgers basketball players.

9. That is certainly your perogative
I just dont think saying he wouldnt be joining the lynch squad comes any where near calling a womans basketball team nappy headed hoes.

Even Junior recently had some harsh words to say about the subject. Even HE can
talk the talk...

"As a civil society, we must understand that noose displays and lynching jokes
are deeply offensive. They are wrong. And they have no place in America today.”

21. Lynching used in reference to a comment used by an African-American woman
Yeah, I'm highly offended this man is still on the air. Did we all just wake up in 1940 Alabama?

7. Isn't he just delightful?
And that's just the beginning. When Obama is our nominee, little Bill's gonna have an even harder time hiding his racism.

22. It was heavily covered on Countdown which seems to indicate
that, even for that ignoramus O'Reilly, it was way over the top...

I guess I'm more surprised that he's still around!!!

26. Oblermann HATES O'Reilly, though, and will
excorciate him at any chance he gets.

Don't know the origins of their feud, but it's gotten to the MTV Celebrity Death Match level.

O'Reilly isn't exercising his right to free speech that other people have died for...he's abusing it :nopity:
