2. Wow! 70% thinks this story won't impact his campaign! |

This is proof! This stuff only matters if you're a Democrat!
My god, Bill was IMPEACHED! for this!
I'm totally mystified--exactly what "family values" do Republicans champion?

5. Well, there was mnore evidence there |

Bill was proved to have lied under oath about his sexual relationship with Monica Lewinsky. I don't think it was worth impeachment either, but he got caught out.
Unless the NYT has more up their sleeves, it's far from clear whehter McCain and Vicky Iseman actually had an affair, or just spent too much time together for appearances. It's also not clear whether her lobbying clients derived significant advantages from the relationship. If a smoking gun is revealed, opinion may shift. But right now it looks like a fairly thin story.

4. I could give a rats ass if he's having an affair. |

I'm more concerned about the campaign contributions and votes as committee chair. Now THAT'S conservative publican action.
