|
Edited on Thu Feb-21-08 09:51 PM by blocker
I just wanted to look at the blogs in here tonight, it's just silly the comments from both sides, theres no way that either clinton or obama actually blew the opponent away, it's a tie! That debate won't change the voters.
GET REAL! GROOPIE!

Hillary was booed because she comes off as mean spirited and petty. VOTERS don't like that. Hilly's campaign continues it's death spiral.

43. It was more like a goodbye |
|
It almost made me tear up. It wasn't a concession, but her acknowledgment that Obama will probably be the nominee. And she shook his hand and said that she was honored to share the stage with him. She let her supporters know that she will be just fine, and expressed her hope that Americans will be fine as well. It was her way of saying "Good night, and good luck". If this is her exit, she did it with style, class and grace.

19. Really? She got booed. |
|
And you don't have the vaguest clue what the result of this debate will be. Frankly, it doesn't seem like she did what she needed to do tonight. Odds are that this was not a trajectory changing moment for her. Texas is tied. She's broke and she's got no ground game. That's all waaay more important than the closing lines of this debate.

I just listened to analysis on the BBC from a Professor who was there and he completely contradicts your claim. And the people meter of undecided voters evidently showed great displeasure. When she comes off as mean spirited she damages her candidacy. This has happened before. That line was the most memorable of the night- and that is not a good thing for Hill.
