I just watched the debate on youtube. For anyone who missed it, here is a link
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVs0BfCBuRgI noticed that Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama got in a great debate on healthcare. They spent about 4 or 5 minutes outlining their differences. The CNN moderator decided they were getting off script and decided that they needed to move on. Thats a bunch of BS. 40-50 million people are uninsured in this country and healthcare deserves more than 5 minutes in a debate. What made that even worse was 10 minutes before the healthcare question they brought up the Deval Patrick issue, which is meaningless and means nothing to the people of America. But healthcare means everything, and that was ridiculous that CNN moderator decided to cut that debate off just when it was getting substantive and informative. Just when I thought I was gonna learn about the differences in their healthcare proposals, CNN decided to get in the way. The healthcare crisis deserves more than just being another issue equal to the "plagarism" charge. Hell, it deserves a whole debate centered around it.
When are we gonna get real debates about issues that really matter and not questions like "Are you the change candidate?" "are you a leader?" and "Did you plagarise a speech that a cochair of your campaign gave you to use?"
