Why is Hillary trying to raise $2.2 in 2 days if she's been raising $1 million a day anyway? |
|
Her surrogates keep saying she's been raising $1 million a day during the month of Feb. but she has a fundraising drive on her website trying to raise $2.2 million in 2 days to keep up with Obama. Are they lying NOW or were they lying THEN?

2. She only raised $15 mil in January, and she's been lying since about February. |

She's trying to raise enough money to pay herself back the $5 million plus interest before she has to drop out.

A big thanks to her campaign supporters for putting that directly into her pocket. At least she won't be leaving this race empty handed.

14. She has over $40 mil personally, and refuses to give a dime of it to her campaign |
|
That's cheap. That's putting herself first, and dumping on all those small contributors.

20. If she had raised $1 mil per day in February, she'd have $22 mil to spend, and we'd see the ads. |
|

She's flat out lying, just like the January reports proved she lied about January.
She ended January spending $29 million.
She raised only $15 million in January.
She loaned the campaign $5 million in January.
So what about the short fall of $9 million?
Well, she owed $7.6 million of it, leaving $1.4 mil, which she had as cash on hand.
She entered February owing $7.6 million campaign debt, not counting the $5 mil the campaign owes her.
That means she started February $12.6 mil in the hole and broke.
Her major contributors are maxed out for the primary, and cannot give her any more money.
She's trying to tap the smaller contributors for more money, but if she gets 100,000 to send $100 each, that's still only $10 million, and that only pays current expenses, with little money for major media. That's why she's pimping the debates and starting fights to get media.
She knows her February reports won't come out until after March 4th, and she knows she'll be out by then, so right now, she's playing to raise enough to pay herself back. Wait until you see how many vendors her campaigns stiffs and leaves holding the bag. She won't pay them, because that would mean using a few million of her $50 million, and that ain't gonna happen.

The 100,000 contributors at $100 each is math = $10,000,000.
In January, she was presumed the winner. In February, she lost that presumption. People don't usually reach into their pockets to fund a campaign they know is going down.
She's going out badly, and she's going to stiff everyone from consultants, to staffers, to mom and pop vendors from all over the country who are sitting on top of $1000 to $10,000 unpaid invoices. She will pay herself first, and that ought to be criminal, but it's not. If you or I did that to a business and put it in bankruptcy, we would be looking at federal criminal charges for fraud.

By all reports, she and Bill have made somewhere between $50 and $75 million since 2001, and that excludes the tens of millions secret donors have given to fund Bill's library.
We know he helped a billionaire cut an oil deal with a dictator recently, and got a $31 million "contribution" to the library because of it.
They have both become accustomed to living high on the hog, wallowing in newfound wealth, and never taking their snouts out of the special interest feeding trough.

Mind you, I'm sure Obama's campaign took a lon look at the donation figures before deciding to publicize their 'one million people' thing.

different ways to raise money/get more contributers. Hillary's the one whose fundraising claims don't match with what her website is saying.

I particularly liked their point that hillary's new friends at the 'American Leadership Project' 527 (yeah, like you'll ever do anything to promote american leadership that isn't personified in HRC) wanted 100 people to doante 100,000...going for the 'one million owners of this campaign' was a great idea.
