I hope the Kerry campaign is prepared to go on the attack after 60 minutes
They need to have people like Clark and Holbrook ready to make the rounds on every show tomorrow from The Today show to The John Stewart show. They will be given a gift of a lifetime from tonights 60 Minutes interview, they need to attack attack attack attack. And attack some more. If the repukes say well Clinton had some responsibility, then we cut Clinton lose. That still leaves Bush and his failures. Bush has to go. There is no need to defend Clinton, Kerry is now our man and between the three of them he is the cleanest when it comes to 911. They need to have ads ready to go early this week attacking Bush on his failures. This must be done, because if the repukes were given this gift they would rap it around Kerry's ankles. No mercy.

1. ABSOLUTELY no mercy.
Or better yet, let's show bush the kind of mercy and fair play HE shows everybody else. And we all know how much THAT is. Taste of his own medicine would be a good strategy. Especially since Kerry had the poor judgment to bail out on vacation at a very crucial time, allowing bush to regain some lost ground, and make LOTS of points, landing LOTS of punches that went virtually unanswered and unchallenged by the Kerry camp, except for a few pathetic little piddly emails from the ski slopes. DISGUSTING!

3. The real battle lies ahead.
I think Kerry was wise to take a rest before the tempo picks up. Everyone needs to rest their mind, body and soul, Goodness knows that Dubya takes enough breaks. I have faith that a re-energized, refreshed Kerry will emerge and kick some GOP butte.
Besides, it seems to me, that without Kerry as a foil against their insults, lies and bullshit...nothing seems to be sticking right now. They just look like fools throwing words to the wind. Kerry is our man, we have to stick with him and trust he knows what he is doing. I know that I do.

2. Is his vacation over now?
We have one of the biggest anti-Bush stories in a long time breaking, and Kerry isn't even around to help the story along.

4. Actually I dont think the vacation hurt
Because of the haux of the capture of Al Qaedas number 2 guy, it has been pretty quiet the last couple of days on both sides of the campaign trail.

9. Yup
Must Remember, that Kerry can wait until after Clarke testifies this week, and that Rand Beers who was also present at the time can verify claims Clark makes and what was going on when Clarke was not present.

5. Timing includes rhythm
It was wise of Kerry to leave the spotlight on Bush during the anniversary of his war.

People will see 60 Minutes tonight, there'll be a response, and it'll be the buzz tomorrow.

All in good time.

7. I know
But if we get tied up in defending Clinton, then Bush may get away. Dont let them change the subject. This is about Bush not Clinton.

8. Does anybody have Fox News on?
I just heard them say Wesley Clark would be responding on behalf of John Kerry to the 9/11 report.
