That statement is the same thing as in the OP.
(deep down, Hillary knows it too).

26. I have stated before and will state again |
|
I will support the nominee as long as they win fair and square, and without hostage-taking, back-room deals, and derailing the party with cronyism.
If Hillary wins by the votes of the people -- I will vote for her.
If she pulls some kind of bullshit move with the MI/FL ghost delegates and strong-arms SDs, I will vote down ticket only.
It is all up to the credibility of the choice and I am holding out hope that it doesn't come to that -- but her campaign has signaled that they are ready to move if it does.

That doesn't mean I'm not disappointed that my top 3 choices in a row have gone down in flames. But I'll get over that, and pretty soon I'll be enthusiastic about Obama, just like I got enthusiastic about Kerry in '04. I think we will see the same thing again - all the uproar will settle and we'll have unity as people start to focus on the real enemy. Ironically the candidates who were so busy attacking each other, will also come together to support the nominee.

50. Let me ask you a question, what would Obama have to do to earn your vote? |
|
I fully admit that barring extraordinary circumstances, a candidate in the general election pretty much just has to be the Democratic nominee to get my vote. But that is because I am a party loyalist and I plan on working for the party in the future.
You are clearly not a party loyalist and so the candidate has to do more than be a Democrat to earn your vote. What would Obama have to do?

I'm not a blind voter. I believe in what Biden said, and his words only. All the remaining candidates are rich politicians with big words and no plans or experience to back them. The Democratic party is electing a celebrity, not our next leader.
