"Sicko" and Something That Doesn't Sit Right With Me Re:HRC
SiCKO: Hillary Clinton became the second largest recipient in the Senate of health care industry contributions.

"As she runs for re-election to the Senate from New York this year and lays the groundwork for a possible presidential bid in 2008, Mrs. Clinton is receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from doctors, hospitals, drug manufacturers and insurers. Nationwide, she is the No. 2 recipient of donations from the industry, trailing only Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania, a member of the Republican leadership." Raymond Hernandez and Robert Pear, "Once an Enemy, Health Industry Warms to Clinton," New York Times, July 12, 2006.

There was some information in the Documentary that I truly was surprised to hear in regard to HRC and the healthcare industry....back from when Bill was in the White House. Those who saw the Documentary will know what I'm talking about. Are all of those allegations true?

Just some honest questions.....and hopefully some answers.

2. Remember, she is NOT proposing universal health care
What she is proposing is universal health insurance. Big difference - the insurance industry is gonna collect premium dollars from somebody for all 300 million of us US citizens. Why would they NOT support her?

There is so much wrong with this proposal I don't even know how to start - but anybody should be able to see that leaving any part of this process in the hands of the insurance companies is a big mistake. (Check overhead for medicare v. privatre insurance for the first clue).

Obama's plan isn't that great either as I understand it, but at least he isn't making it a centerpiece of his campaign.

Sometimes I can't sew all the info together but yes this is why costs won't go down....

..Where Barack has had proven legislative record of driving down cost of health insurance while in Illinois. The best plan was the Kucinich plan but very sadly he was rejected by theelectorate he was going to kick out the profit incentive, totaly. I know many sensible independents that were pleading dems to vote DK, they knew their onions, he was America's saviour, don't get why he got so low figures.

3. Are those allegations true?
Michael Moore has VERY good fact checkers. Despite what you might read here and there, he has never been proven to be wrong on stated facts. He may have a clear bias about one thing or another, but if what is says is a verifiable fact, I think you can believe it.

4. Here's All That I Could Find For Now....
Will Watch the Documentary Again Tomorrow.

"SiCKO” shows how Hillary Clinton tried to reform the healthcare system as first lady. “She was destroyed as a result of it. I mean, they put out I think well over $100 million to fight her. But to jump ahead here with Hillary, in last year’s Congress, she was the second-largest recipient of health industry money. She may be No. 1 at this point, for all I know. It’s very sad to see … they’re into her pocket, and she’s into their pocket.”

5. Neither Obama or Clinton really support universal health CARE
CARE, not "coverage" which may or may not exist when you actually need it, as SiCKO amply demonstrates. However, a well organized movement supporting universal care might conceivably push either of them into doing the right thing.

7. These ties will make it impossible for her to pass "her plan"
She gets all worked up about the details of her plan versus Obamas

But if she got in, she will owe these people so big, they will just re-write it as they please.

And Mrs. Clinton will sit back and eat bon bons in the white house, because she could care less about
Health Care. All she cares about is POWER.

At absolutely ANY price.

10. No reason to expect any positive change in the health care system
from HRC. She owes the insurance industry too much.

11. Here's a must read on Hillary's health care plan:
http://www.counterpunch.org/navarro11122007.html

"Tell me something interesting." -HRC responding to being told that a majority of Americans support a single-payer national health care system.
