CAGW/Clinton's Earmarks: more details needed
The article linked below brings up a good point re earmarks. A full presentation of earmarks is needed to make an informed decision on a candidate. HRCs high numbers are concerning to say the least, but, I intend to to research the information to find out how that money was spent. Mary Landrieu (LA) has huge earmarks $$s which, as another poster pointed out, are most likely related to Katrina efforts. Whereas, the huge earmark $$s of Inouye (HI) are a mystery (at least to me).

I'm a little concerned about CAGW, Citizens Against Corporate Waste, the watchgroup that prepared the pork analysis. There's no question that they are performing a much needed service but consider some background before buying their information wholesale. CAGW was founded by J. Grace (corporate megamogul, of W.R. Grace and Company fame), huge Reagan supporter and member of the Grace Commission. I certainly am a little suspicious of a pork watchgroup that's founded by one of the biggest offenders. Their webpage has a post re Governor Bill Richardson's proposed healthcare program that raises red flags about this groups agenda.

I believe their mission is admirable, I just want more details re earmarks before I make a decision.

1. Good for Hillary - sounds like her earmarks are for programs that are EXACTLY what's NEEDED
and more like them should be ENCOURAGED!

What is this fucking "site" - another repuke "I've got mine, fuck everyone else" site?

I looked at the site and they're questionable at best...

I applaud Hillary's earmarks...
