McCain must be laughing his ass off

As usual dems are doing whatever they can to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
After all the smears and the negativity it's become irrelevant who wins the nomination - we've set ourselves up for a fundie SCOTUS and 4 more years of republican rule.

3. Not a chance!
All that's happening is Hillary's campaign is crashing and burning in an unusually painful way ~ fortunately the candidate still standing on the Dem side is able to bring out voters of all persuasions in huge numbers.

4. a fundie SCOTUS is a gift from the Clinton haters that ran from Gore and now give us Obama
Pathetic are the Obama folks that deny his smear/play the race card/lie campaign - or that those
"left" ideas are per Obama "on the table" to trade for GOP love and changing the atmosphere in DC.

The best part was Obama stopping discussion of his lack of political ability to get left type victories of any size - by play the race card and getting 24/7 discussion of the "race card" - all by using his folks to say they saw racial undertones in comments by Clinton supporters - while he let it boil for a few weeks until he finally said the Clintons were not racists (not noting anything they had accomplished for blacks - like better jobs/income) but then claiming Hillary should be faulted for lack of control of all who support her - only 4 weeks later when he unleashed a few slurs/smears via supporters he claimed it was silly to assume anyone could control their supporters.

The walk on water sale via a GOP organizations/corporate media that has had its emails explaining its support of Obama as an attempt to get the weaker candidate printed on DU many times seems to work well with the men that are afraid of a women in authority.

12. Exactly
Even an imbecile like Bush* realized it when he said "Bill Clinton wasn't a racist." He's appealing to Democrats who were pissed off by the charge... Nominal , read not activist, Democrats will say, "gee, it takes the Republicans and Geoorge Bush* to say he's not a racist."

5. Nope. This is very good for Obama. It sets a firm precedent on what is fair
and what is race-baiting.

Sure he'll get the nomination but the democratic primary will determine who the next president is

13. McCain campaign is being spoon fed a lot of negative stuff to use against
Obama. The picture of him in Kenya is just what the republicans need. It was bound to come out later, but too bad the Clinton campaign is hooked in with it now. Politics is filthy. Now all McCain and the rpigs have to do is to add the picture as an attachment to their email that they have been sending around.

14. It's pure speculation but...
I think Huckabee is going to be the republican's "Ralph Nader" and run as a conservative independent as an alternative to McCain and use the popular support and delegates he currently has to declare himself to be general election viable. Remember what Ross Perot did to Bush 41?
"You hear that giant sucking sound?" That'll be tens of thousands of republicans voting for Huckabee out of protest to McCain. The party hates the guy but the media must love him enough to have made him the nominee
